Occult Architecture Vol. 2 was written and recorded in order to act as a bright counterpoint to the nighttime fuzz of the first volume: Moon Duo considers this to be the Yang to that records Yin. Separating their approaches in this way allows the band to create a focused and consistent mood here. It’s a particularly blissful version of Moon Duo’s psych sound. On Sacred Bones.
