South African born Kongos had some success in his native country in the early 1960s before moving to Britain to further his career. He recorded his first album for Pye Records‰۪ newly formed \"progressive‰۝ label Dawn in 1970 before signing to Fly \/ Cube Records with whom he enjoyed two successful and highly creative hit singles \"He‰۪s Gonna Step on You Again‰۝ and \"Tokoloshe Man‰۝. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\r\r\u003cp\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThe album \"Kongos‰۝ was released in 1972 and was a UK chart hit.
